Choosing an Airport Friendly Laptop Case

Going through security at the airport can be kind of a hassle, especially for those traveling with multiple electronics. Generally, every electronic item must be removed from its bag and scanned individually, including computers, video game systems, and even some cell phones. Choosing laptop bags that meet security checkpoint requirements may save some time, since when utilizing one of these cases, the laptop won’t have to be removed and can simply go through the scanner within the bag.

It is important to read all guidelines about which bags meet the requirements and which do not, in order to ensure a quick and easy route through airport security. n the coming months, there will be many new entrants into the growing netbook market. For those who have been out of the loop, netbooks have been slowly gaining popularity among consumers the past few years. They are small laptop style computers that do not have the power of a full fledged laptop, but can easily connect to the internet with a wifi connection and can do many computer functions that donâ€™t require a heavy duty processor or upgraded graphics card.

These small netbooks have been big sellers, and rightfully so. They cost as little as $200, and allow many people who may not otherwise be able to afford a laptop or second computer a chance to purchase something that will let them do homework, access the social networks or write email while they are on the go.

The computer companies have been watching this trend closely and are coming out with new products all the time that will grab part of this growing market. Experts and insiders have predicted that in 2011 that the major computer companies will continue to expand their lineup of netbooks and add more features to these pint size computers.
Soon, there will be netbooks that are geared towards gamers that will cost a bit more but will have the processor and graphics capability to handle many of the popular online games. Other entrants into the market will include netbooks that will cost even less as well as those that are even smaller. These will be mainly geared towards students and will also be marketed as an alternative to the ebook readers that are becoming more popular. Laptop or Desktop – Which is Right for You?

One of the main decisions you will make when you are shopping for your next computer is whether to buy a laptop or a desktop. They both have their benefits, you will simply need to figure out your own needs and then weigh the pros and cons.
If you are a hard core gamer, you are likely going to want to go with a desktop. Laptops have made great strides in the past few years, but unless you are prepared to spend thousands of dollars you will be hard pressed to find a machine that can compete with even the basic desktops.

If you do a lot of telecommuting, you will likely find that a laptop is the best option for you. It is nice to be able to do some of your work while you are riding the train, enjoying a cup of coffee in your favorite cafÃ©, at home and at the job site.

If neither of these describes you, you are likely not going to have such a straightforward decision. If you are looking for a family computer you may think about going with a desktop because of the durability issue. The very portability that makes a laptop useful, also makes it more likely to get dropped or damaged by children or young teens. However in families with older teens they may be able to do more of their school work if they have a laptop that they can take into school for presentations and such. Plus it is nice to be able to have them using the computer in the family room and then you can watch what they are doing but at the same time you can bring the laptop into your bedroom, and out of their reach at night. As you can see, there are many different things you must consider when choosing what type of computer to go with.
